AARON STRUMPEL lives in a bursted bubble. His heart drips empathy for the freedom and revelation of fellow saints and sinners. Elephants, his new self-released recording is the first in a series of song collections where he has devoted himself to singing in the voices of these forgotten people. So, muster up your courage and sit with them for a spell and let their groanings soften you. There’s life to be found in the passed-over cast-offs, and he won’t stop until you have heard them. These recordings chronicle a gathering strength, a force to reckoned with, a rumbling preamble to coming stampede, a survival of the ones deemed unfit.

KATE HURLEY Somehow, when you hear Kate Hurley's music, you feel like you have just had a conversation with a good friend. Her songs give words to the unsaid, deepest parts of the ones listening.
You can hear Kate's journey in her music….roads that have led her to dark places of difficult seasons and overcoming chronic illness. Roads that have led her to the immense joy of knowing she is Loved. Roads around the world teaching and encouraging and being weaved into the tapestry that is the family of God. Roads to the streets of San Francisco where street kids became her friends as she shared meals with, recorded, and learned from them.
When you hear Kate's music, don't just listen to the songs. Let them surround you with a deep sense that you are understood. Let the words wrap their arms around you with hope.

THE RESTORATION PROJECT is the creative identity of musician-artist-activist Tracy Howe Wispelwey, and RestorationVillage.com is the home to her and the individuals and communities knit together through her work. Tracy has most recently been drawn to the new technology of electronic music and composition as she has found it to be an incredible tool for collaboration and fusion. With her recently completed EP, she seems to have found a genre that allows her to fuse her imagination and desire to incorporate world sounds and rhythms with her contemplative and challenging lyrics.
